It is with great pleasure that we announce Rob Millard, Director of Swanton Consulting Ltd, has been voted onto the Board of Directors of the Temporary Works Forum (TWf).
Rob has been involved in the industry for over 20 years and worked within the Erith Group since 2014. Whilst occupying the role of Director for Swanton, he has overseen the company as it continues to grow and implement innovative temporary works solutions to extremely complex construction projects.
Rob’s tremendous efforts and accomplishments have seen Swanton nominated for the BCI Temporary Works Initiative award, and now Rob himself has been recognised for his achievements. The current Board of the Temporary Works Forum voted in favour of Rob joining them during their quarterly meeting in June this year.
The TWf was established in 2010 with the aim of encouraging open discussions in matters relating to temporary works. Rob’s appointment means Swanton can remain at the forefront of temporary works engineering by consulting with the industry’s leading professionals to discuss trends, innovations and best practice.
Rob Millard commented following his appointment: “This is a great opportunity to look at leading the Temporary Works profession and Permanent Works Engineering teams to strive for closer links. I am looking forward to assisting the TWF in finding an effective solution to the utilisation of appropriate skills across project lifecycles, where they can best lead to safe and efficient designs and methodologies of working.”
