Erith Haulage gains DVSA Earned Recognition scheme accreditation
Erith Haulage has been formally recognised for its commitment to road haulage safety by being successfully accredited to the DVSA Earned Recognition Scheme.
After the completion of several audits and compliance checks over the past two months our haulage business has been recognised as operating in the top ten percent of road haulage operators across the UK.
What is the DVSA Earned Recognition scheme?
The Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) earned recognition scheme is a voluntary program designed for vehicle operators to demonstrate their commitment to meeting driver and vehicle standards.
Here’s how it works:
Continuous Monitoring
As an operator, you continuously monitor your own compliance using DVSA-validated IT systems for vehicle maintenance and drivers’ hours. These systems track a set of key performance indicators (KPIs) related to safety and compliance.
Reporting
Every 4 weeks, your system informs DVSA if you’ve missed any KPIs by a specified amount. If this occurs, DVSA collaborates with you to address any issues.

Benefits:
- Exemplary operator
- Reduced roadside inspections
- DVSA recognition
- Direct support
By participating in earned recognition, you become an exemplary operator, which can enhance your
chances when bidding for contracts
Vehicles are less likely to be stopped at the roadside for inspections
Use the DVSA earned recognition logo on your website and other publicity materials (excluding vehicles)
Direct access to a dedicated earned recognition team within DVSA
This recognition represents the collective dedication of the drivers, maintenance, and operations teams within the Haulage division to elevate standards to an outstanding level, a milestone that we are immensely proud to have reached.
